Clean the crankcase mating surfaces before assem-
bling.
Install the dowel pins and a new gasket onto the l eh
crankcase.
Make sure thSI the Install the right crankcase over the left crankcase.

Install the seven bolts with the clamp and tighten
them in a crisscross pattern in 2 - 3 steps.
Apply engine oil to the cam chain and install it.
Install the washer and bolt to the shift drum , then
tighten the bolt to the specified torque .
TORQUE: 12 N'm (1 .2 kgf ·m, 9Ibf.ft )
