Watermark
To apply a custom watermark to the main stream, select the Watermark Settings check box.
In the Watermark Text box, enter the watermark text. The text cannot have any spaces but
underscores (_), and hyphens (-) are acceptable.
Click Save to apply the settings.
Configuring Snapshot Settings
You can configure snapshot properties on the
Setup > Compression Setup > Snapshot
page.
Snapshot Type
Set the Snapshot Type to General or Event.
Image Size
The image size is determined by the main stream resolution setting. It is not configurable.
(See Resolution on page 46).
Quality
Set the Quality to a value between 1 (lowest) and 6 (highest).
Interval
Select a snapshot frequency between 1 snapshot per second (1s) and 7 snapshots per
second (7s), or click Customized to define a custom setting between 1 and 16 seconds.
Click Save to apply the settings.
General Snapshots are taken according to a user-defined schedule.
Event Snapshots are taken when an alarm, motion detection, camera tampering, audio,
face detection, or system event occurs.
