Model IFP-300 Basic Operating Instructions
These Instructions must be framed and displayed next to the IFP-300 panel in accordance with NFPA 72 fire code for
Local Protected Fire Alarm Systems. Test the system in accordance to NFPA 72.

then enter a code if prompted.
View Alarms,
Supervisory, and
Troubles
For each type of condition press the Up or Down button associated for Alarms,
Supervisory, or Troubles.
View status of Point
1.
Press
ENTER
to access Main
Menu.
2.
Press 2 to select Point Functions.
3.
Then press 2 to select Point Status.
4.
Select the module the device is located on by using the Up or Down button. Then
press ENTER.
5.
Enter the point number.
Conduct a Fire Drill
Call service company
May be disabled
May not be allowed by
AHJ in your area.
1.
Press
ENTER
to access Main
Menu.
2.
Then Press 1 to select System Tests.
3.
Press 1 to select Fire Drill.
4.
Press ENTER to start the fire drill.
5.
Press ENTER to end the fire drill.

Silence Alarms and Troubles

Press SILENCE to silence alarms or troubles, then enter code if prompted.

Reset Alarms

Press RESET to reset alarms, then enter code if prompted.

View Alarms, Supervisory, and Troubles

Press Up/Down buttons to view different condition types like Alarms, Supervisory, or Troubles.

View Point Status

Access Main Menu, select Point Functions, then Point Status to view device details.

Conduct Fire Drill

Access Main Menu, select System Tests, then Fire Drill to start and end.

Check Detector Sensitivity

Navigate to Point Status to view detector sensitivity status: NORMAL, CAL MAINT, or CAL TRBLE.

Set Time and Date

Access Main Menu, select Set Time & Date, make changes, and press ENTER to confirm.

Enable or Disable a Point

Access Main Menu, select Point Functions, then Disable/Enable Pt to change status.

View Event History

From Program Menu, select Event History to view events in the buffer.
