8.C. KRX 1053 Receiver/Exciter Removal and Re-installation
8.C.(1) KRX 1053 Receiver/Exciter Removal
• Detach cables from connector J10531.
• Detach the coaxial cable from J10532.
• Loosen retaining screw clamp located at the front of the KRX 1053
Receiver/Exciter. Remove unit from mounting rack.
8.C.(2) KRX 1053 Receiver/Exciter Re-installation
• Slide the KRX 1053 Receiver/Exciter gently into the mounting tray.
• Engage and tighten retaining screw clamps to secure unit.
• Reconnect appropriate cables to connector J10531.
• Reconnect the coaxial cable to J10523.
8.D. Compatible Control Unit Removal and Re-installation
8.D.(1) PS440 Removal and Re-installation
8.D.(1)(a) Removal
• Loosen two Allen head screws that are recessed into the front bezel.
• Pull the PS440 out of the instrument panel.
• Remove locking devices at connector J1.
• Disconnect mating connector from connector J1.
8.D.(1)(b) Re-installation
• Reconnect mating connector to connector J1.
• Secure locking devices at connector J1.
• Insert the PS440 into the instrument panel.
• Tighten the two Allen head screws that are recessed into the front bezel.
8.D.(2) MC-850 Removal and Re-installation
Refer to the MC-850 installation documentation pertinent to each specific
application for MC-850 MCDU removal and re-installation instructions.
8.D.(3) RM-855 Removal and Re-installation
