  Several factors can cause your Honeywell Air Conditioner to run without effectively cooling. Check if doors or windows are open, and ensure they are closed. A dirty dust filter can also reduce cooling efficiency, so clean it. Verify that the exhaust hose is properly installed. Also, the temperature setting might be too high; try reducing it on the control panel. Make sure that neither the air outlet nor the intake is blocked. If the room is larger than recommended for the unit, move it to a smaller space. Finally, large windows can decrease cooling effectiveness; cover them with curtains or blinds.

  In heating mode, the unit may switch off frequently if the room is too humid and the water tank needs emptying. In heating mode, the heat pump condenses moisture from the air into the internal water tank. In more humid rooms, it will collect faster and need to be emptied out more frequently. It is recommended to use the heating mode in 50% humidity or less. Switch off any appliances such as a humidifier or kettle to avoid extra moisture build up in the room when operating in heating mode.
