Backbox Mounting Installation
When using batteries larger than 7 Amp Hour (up to 18 Amp Hour), the BB-17 battery box (or UL-
listed equivalent) must be installed. To install the BB-17:
1. Mount the FACP cabinet to the wall.
2. Remove knockouts on the bottom of the FACP cabinet and top of the BB-17
3. Using conduit, hang the BB-17 from the FACP cabinet making sure there is at least ½” of
clearance between the two cabinets.
4. Anchor the BB-17 to the wall.
