Troubleshooting the Printer
You may have printer operation, print quality, or printer communication problems
at some time during the life of your printer. You can easily fix most of the problems
you encounter. If you cannot find the answer to your problem in this section, you
may need to contact Product Support.
Understanding Error Messages
Use the following tables to troubleshoot common error messages you may see dis-
played on your printer’s screen. Keep in mind that some error messages:
• are specific to the type of firmware you are running.
• have corresponding error numbers.
• cause the Ready-to-Work indicator to blink or turn off.
