Introducing the XLS-REL
Description
The XLS-REL Releasing Module (Figure 1-1) is a Signature
Series component consisting of:
• Two supervised release circuits
• Two supervised prerelease circuits
• One supervised manual release input circuit
• One supervised abort circuit for a normally-open abort switch
• One first alarm output relay (Form C contact)
The XLS-REL controls operations for deluge, preaction, and
automatic fire extinguishing systems. The module controls the
release of gas and other fire suppression agents through release
solenoids.
