What to do if LED flashes rapidly on Horizon Hobby Toy after binding?
    • S
      Shannon FlynnAug 15, 2025
If the LED on the flight control board of your Horizon Hobby Toy flashes rapidly and the helicopter doesn't respond to the transmitter after binding, ensure at least 5 seconds have passed between powering on the transmitter and connecting the flight battery to the helicopter. If not, leave the transmitter on, then disconnect and reconnect the flight battery to the helicopter. Also, check and replace or recharge batteries if their charge is too low. Finally, move the aircraft and transmitter away from large metal objects, wireless sources, or other transmitters, and try binding again.

Why my Horizon Hobby Toy helicopter will not respond to throttle?
    • L
      Laura GrantAug 19, 2025
If your Horizon Hobby Toy helicopter won't respond to the throttle, the throttle might be inactive due to a safety lock. Refer to the Takeoff instructions in the Flying the 70 S section to activate the throttle. Alternatively, the throttle or throttle trim might be too high. To resolve this, disconnect the flight battery, put the throttle stick in the lowest position, and lower the throttle trim a few clicks. Then, connect the flight battery and allow the model to initialize. Also ensure that the helicopter does not move during initialization. If it does, disconnect the flight battery and re-initialize the helicopter while keeping it still.

How to fix inconsistent control response on Horizon Hobby Blade 70 S RTF Toy helicopter?
    • A
      Alicia SmithAug 25, 2025
If your Horizon Hobby Toy helicopter exhibits inconsistent control response or requires excessive trim, it might not have been initialized properly. Try disconnecting the flight battery, centering the transmitter control trims, and then re-initialize the helicopter. Also, vibration might be interfering with the sensor operation. Check all rotating parts for damage and replace them if needed. Ensure the receiver unit is securely attached to the frame.

Why does my Horizon Hobby Blade 70 S RTF have reduced flight time?
    • W
      William BruceAug 27, 2025
If your Horizon Hobby Toy helicopter has reduced flight time or seems underpowered, fully recharge the flight battery. If the issue persists, the flight battery might be damaged, so replace it following the battery instructions. Also, cold flight conditions can affect performance, so ensure the battery is warm (room temperature) before use. Finally, check for and clean any debris in or around the rotating parts.

Why Horizon Hobby Blade 70 S RTF drift in wind?
    • P
      pruittsheilaSep 12, 2025
The Horizon Hobby Toy model will drift with the wind but should remain level in flight. Simply hold the cyclic stick in the necessary position to keep the model stationary. The model must lean into the wind to remain stationary. If the model remains level then it will drift with the wind
