      If your HotSpring Hot Tub is completely inoperative, here are some things to check: * First, check the power source. * Second, reset the GFCI. If it trips again, call for service. * Third, disconnect power for at least thirty seconds to reset the heater high limit. If it continues to trip, check for clogged filters and call for service if necessary. * Also, ensure the spa lock is deactivated, check for clogged filters (the integrated pressure switch will reset when water flow is restored, but call for service if it trips frequently), and see if the circulation pump thermal cut-off has tripped (disconnect power to cool the pump; it will reset when cooled and power is reapplied, but call for service if it trips often). * Finally, make sure the water level isn't too low, the filters aren...

      To fix cloudy water in your HotSpring Hot Tub: 1. Clean the filters. 2. Shock the spa with sanitizer to address excessive oils or organic matter, bacteria, algae growth, or build-up of oils and dirt. 3. Add sanitizer if there is improper sanitization, or shock the spa and maintain sanitizer level if the sanitizer level is low or the water is unsanitary. 4. Adjust pH and/or alkalinity to the recommended range if there are suspended particles or organic matter. 5. Run jet pump(s) and clean filters if the water is overused or old. 6. Drain and refill the spa if there are excessive organics in the water. 7. Adjust pH if it is high, or adjust total alkalinity and pH if there is high calcium content.
