  If you're experiencing poor or no detergent flow with your Hotsy Pressure Washer, take these steps: First, ensure there's an adequate detergent supply by refilling the container and making sure the pick-up screen is fully immersed, and that the detergent valve is open. Check the detergent screen and hose for clogs, and clean them if necessary. Always start with a clean detergent container. Also, make sure the detergent injector valve is set correctly. Finally, inspect the detergent injector check valve for clogs and clean it at the detergent injector inlet.

  If your Hotsy Pressure Washer isn't producing hot water, check the following: Ensure the burner switch is in the ON position and that there's an adequate fuel supply. Also, verify that the water supply is sufficient. Remember to squeeze the trigger, as water must be spraying for the burner to light. Check the thermostat setting and adjust to the desired temperature. Replace the fuse if it's blown. Finally, ensure the engine is running at full throttle.

  If you're experiencing low spray pressure at the nozzle of your Hotsy Pressure Washer, check the following: First, ensure you have an adequate water supply by fully opening the faucet and inspecting the hose for kinks or damage. Use a 3/4 inch minimum hose size. Also, check the inlet screen for any debris. The pressure nozzle may be partially clogged or damaged, so clean or replace it as necessary. If you're using detergent, make sure air isn't being drawn through the detergent inlet line by refilling the detergent container and ensuring the pick-up screen is fully immersed. Finally, verify that the detergent injector valve is correctly set.

A clogged pressure nozzle can also cause this issue, so clean the nozzle opening. If water spray doesn’t appear within 10-15 seconds, discontinue running the machine to prevent pump damage.

  The gas engine of your Hotsy Pressure Washer might not be running due to several reasons: it could be out of gas (replenish the supply, using only recommended fuels), the fuel valve might be closed (open the valve), the spark plug wire might be loose (reconnect it), the choke or throttle might be set incorrectly (refer to the Operation section for correct settings), the engine ON/OFF switch might be in the OFF position (place it in the ON position), or the engine oil level might be low (replenish the supply).
