Usage Features:

General Cleaning Techniques & Storage:

Rinsing: After detergent application, rinse the surface with clean water. For models with antifreeze, the unloader system can be flushed with antifreeze for rust protection.
Storage: When storing the machine in a heated area, or by flushing the system with antifreeze, use an automotive engine antifreeze or a Hotsy washer solvent.

Proper Pump Care:

Do not pump acids.
Allow the pump to run dry.
Winterize if storing in freezing temperatures.
Use a water softener if the water system is known to be high in mineral content.
Use only high-quality detergents and follow manufacturer's recommendations.
Flush the system with clean water immediately after using chemical solutions.
Clean the filter screen on the detergent inlet periodically.
Flush the pressure washer system with antifreeze if storing for an extended period.

Pump Lubrication: Lubricate the pump using 30W non-detergent oil. Check the oil level using the sight glass and drain/refill after the first 25 hours of operation, then every 3 months or 300 hours, whichever comes first.

Relief Valve: The relief valve is factory set and sealed. Tampering with it can cause injury or damage and voids the warranty. It should be inspected annually for any obstructions.

Unloader Valve: The unloader valve is factory set and sealed and is a non-adjustable part. Tampering with it can cause injury or damage and voids the warranty.

Burner Fuel Filter: Drain any accumulated water and clean or replace the element as needed.

Heating Coil:

Coil Descaling: In hard water areas, scale buildup can reduce water temperature rise and eventually clog the coil. Contact a local service center for descaling.
Coil Desooting: Poor grades of fuel oil or inadequate combustion air can cause heavy soot buildup on the outside surface of the heating coil, insulating it and restricting airflow. Contact a local service center for desooting.

Troubleshooting:

A detailed troubleshooting guide is provided for common issues such as the pump motor not running, no water spray, low pressure, poor or no detergent flow, burner not igniting, and burner smokes or has an obnoxious odor.
