Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 27).
2. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 28).
3. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31).
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 62).
6. Remove the display (see Display assembly on page 53).
Remove the power connector cable:
1. Remove the cable from the clips built into the computer (1).
2. Remove the power connector cable from the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
