Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 27).
2. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 28).
3. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31).
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
Remove the hard drive:
1. Slide the hard drive away from the connector (1), and then lift the hard drive out of the computer (2).
