NOTE
In
IBM
format, writing
to
a sector which has the D bit
on
clears the
D bit.
Parallel poll is
re-enabled
after the write
completes
or
aborts.
If more
than
one
sector is
to
be
written,
any
number
of
write
commands
can
be
used
in succession.
The
9895A
will
update
the
target
address
automatically. A write
will
fail
if
it
follows
another
write which failed,
so
there is
no
chance
of
an
error
in the middle of a long transfer going
unreported.
However,
error
detection
will
be
quickened
if
a DSJ is
used
after
each
write
seq
uence is completed.
