For GS1280 systems, you can use the tables shown in Figure 3-10 to determine which I/O
port (connector) on the CPU drawer connects to the I/O riser (IO7) in the drawer you are
installing. For example, for a 16P GS1280 system with two I/O expansion drawers already
installed, use the I/O port connector of CPU5 in drawer 0. For ES47 and ES80 systems, the
tables are unnecessary because the connection path between a CPU and its I/O drawer is
fairly simple to determine.
