4. Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×3.0 broad-head screws (1) that secure the rear cover to the base
enclosure.
NOTE: The microphone extension cable ground loop (2) is secured the computer by the left-most
broad-head screw.
5. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws (3) that secure the rear cover to the base enclosure.
6. Remove the microphone extension cable (4) from the clips and routing channel built into the rear
cover.
NOTE: The microphone extension cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number
487138-001.
7. Lift the rear edge of the rear cover (1) until it disengages from the base enclosure.
8. Remove the rear cover (2) by lifting it straight up.
Reverse this procedure to install the rear cover.
