3. Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×3.0 screws (1) and the two Phillips PM2.5×3.0 broad-head
screws (2) that secure the top cover to the computer.
4. Turn the computer right side up, with rear panel toward you.
5. Lift the rear edge of the top cover until it rests at an angle.
6. Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable (1) is attached, and disconnect the
TouchPad cable from the ExpressCard board.
NOTE: The fingerprint reader board is available only on select models.
