3. Use the tabs (3) to remove the battery from the computer.
4. To remove the battery latches, rotate the latches (1), and then use a tool to release the latches (2)
from the computer.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the battery latches during normal battery replacement. Only
replace the latches if they are missing or broken.
To install a battery, reverse the removal procedures.
NOTE: When replacing the battery, be sure to align the battery on the pins and then lock the latches.
