Speakers (includes cable) L37374-001
Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the following components:
a. Bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 25)
b. Battery (see Battery on page 27)
c. Heat sink (see Heat sink on page 32)
d. USB board (see USB board on page 34)
e. Fans (see Fans on page 31)
Remove the speakers:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.5×6.0 screws (1) from the right display hinge, and then rotate the hinge
open as far as possible (2).
2. Disconnect the display cable from the system board (3), and then remove the cable from the retention
clips and routing channel built into the right speaker (4).
