Install the drive.
4. Determine the status of the drive from the drive LED definitions ("Hot-plug drive LED definitions" on
page 9).
NVMe SSD option
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
blade or the enclosure unless all drive and device bays are populated with either a component
or a blank.
1. Remove the drive blank.
2. Press the Do Not Remove button to release the Release lever.
3. Install the drive.
