4. Configure interfaces (required for each port being configured).

This command allows the port to access the FCoE VLAN. You can omit this command for non-FCoE
ports; however, both FCoE and non-FCoE ports might require a similar command for access to
other VLANs.
5. Repeat Step 4 for each interface you are configuring.
6. Perform a port shutdown/no shutdown operation (required for each port for the configuration
change to be enabled).
switch(config)# interface tengigabitethernet 0/0 Change Port ID
switch(config-if-te-0/0)# shutdown
switch(config-if-te-0/0)# no shutdown
switch(config-if-te-0/0)# exit
7. Repeat Step 6 for each interface you are configuring.
8. Save the running configuration to boot flash.

switch# copy running-config startup-config

9. Verify that the CEE port link status and VLAN status are correct.
