4. Detach the backlight cover from the keyboard. (The backlight cover is attached to the keyboard with
double-sided adhesive.)
5. Remove the 54 Phillips M1.2×3.0 keyboard retention screws from the locations indicated in the illustration
below.
The keyboard retention screws are available in the Keyboard Screw Kit, spare part number L04545-001.
