5. Remove the TouchPad (3) by sliding it up and back at an angle.
Reverse this procedure to install the TouchPad.

Before removing the fans, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 32).
Remove the right fan:
1. Disconnect the right fan cables (1) from the connectors on the system board.
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×3.2 screws (2) that secure the right fan to the keyboard/top cover.
