If you ordered the HP Tower to Rack Conversion Tray Universal Kit for the purpose of installing the
1530 tower model in a rack, use the provided tower-to-rack conversion kit installation instructions
to install the tower hardware into the rack.
Cabling the storage system
The StoreEasy systems support both single domain and dual domain cabling using D2000 and
D6000 disk enclosures, depending on the SmartArray RAID controller that is installed in the system.
See Table 2 (page 22) for details. In a single domain, external disk enclosures are connected,
using a single data path, to the SmartArray RAID controller in the StoreEasy system. In a dual
domain, external disk enclosures are connected, using two data paths, to a single SmartArray
RAID controller in the StoreEasy system. For more detailed information about single and dual

The StoreEasy systems connect to the I/O modules on the D6000 and D2000 disk enclosures.
Figure 19 (page 22) shows the I/O module ports on the D2600 disk enclosure, Figure 20 (page
23) shows the I/O module ports on the D2700 disk enclosure, and Figure 21 (page 23) shows
the I/O module ports on the D6000 disk enclosure.
