WINX
Once created, the unique label of an object is used to represent that object in a command entry.
If an object is deleted, the label originally used for the deleted object may be used for a newly
created object. For example, assume three virtual tape cartridges are created with labels “CART1,”
”CART2,” and “CART3.” If virtual tape cartridge “CART1” is deleted, the next virtual tape cartridge
created can be labeled “CART1.” The index used in label generation simply guarantees object
name uniqueness and provides no other information.
For a few objects, the label is defined by the user using the following convention:
