Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 23).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 24).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 25).
4. Remove the display assembly (see Display assembly on page 36).
Remove the power button board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the power button board (1).
2. Remove the M2.0 × 3.0 screw (2) that secures the power button board to the computer.
3. Lift the board from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.
