Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-15 Torx screwdriver available.
Procedure
1. Power down the server on page 23.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Disconnect all peripherals cables from the server.
4. If a Kensington security cable is installed, disconnect it from the rear panel. See the security cable
documentation for instructions.
5. Fully extend the server out of the rack:
a. Loosen the server tray thumbscrews.
b. Hold the tray notch to slide the server out of the rack.
6. Lift the server from the tray.
