  If your HPN Power Tool continually heats without stopping, first, ensure the wires on port #1 and port #2 of your solid state relay are correctly placed in their designated spots. If the wires were crossed during a solid state relay test, return them to their original positions. Also, check the red light on the solid state relay when the machine reaches the desired temperature. The light should turn off or blink. If it remains on, the solid state relay likely needs replacement.

  If your HPN Power Tool is not heating up, locate the solid state relay with screws labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4. Disconnect and cross the wire from port #1 to port #2. Turn on the machine to see if it heats up. If it heats up with crossed wires, the solid state relay needs replacing. If it still doesn’t heat up, the heating element needs replacing. After testing, return the wire to its original position.
