Taking Pictures and Shooting
Videos
Whether traveling for business or fun, enjoy taking
photos and videos of your trip and encounters with
your device’s camera.
Launching the Camera
$ To launch the camera in photo mode and take
photos, press and tap
> Camera.
$ To launch the camera directly in video mode so
you can immediately start capturing videos,
press and tap
> Camcorder.
Important: Be sure the microSD card is present before you
use your device’s camera. Photos and videos
captured with the camera are stored onto the
microSD card. For more information on how to
install a microSD card on your device, see
“Inserting the microSD Card” on page 125.
