2.4 How do I connect my phone to a Wi-Fi hotspot with a
static IP address to access the Internet?
Touch Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi. On the Wi-Fi screen, touch a hotspot. In
the displayed dialog box, select Modify network then Show advanced options. Touch IP
settings and select Static. Enter the IP address (mostly 192.168.1.xxx), gateway address
(mostly 192.168.1.1), network prefix length (24), and domain name (DNS address).
