● a: The front drives and I/O module 3 support only 2.5-inch drives.
NOTE
Other front drive congurations and I/O modules support 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives.
● b: If an SP460C-M (Broadcom SAS3516) RAID controller card is used, I/O
module 2 cannot hold drives.
● c: I/O module 3 supports only SAS/SATA drives when the server is congured
with an SR760-M (Broadcom SAS3416), SR760IT-M (Broadcom SAS3416), or
SP460C-M (Broadcom SAS3516) RAID controller card.
● d: Built-in drives are supported only when the server is
congured with an
SR760-M (Broadcom SAS3416), SR760IT-M (Broadcom SAS3416), or SP460C-
M (Broadcom SAS3516) RAID controller card.
● e: Only the SR760-M (Broadcom SAS3416) or SR760IT-M (Broadcom
SAS3416) RAID controller card can be used to manage common drives.
● f: Only PCH can be used for drive management. The PCH supports only SATA
drives.
● g: A RAID controller card or PCH can be used to manage common drives
(slots 0 to 7). The PCH supports only SATA drives.
● h: Every eight front drives require a RAID controller card. A maximum of
three RAID controller cards are supported.
● Contact your local Huawei sales representative or use the Intelligent
Computing Compatibility Checker to determine the components to be
used.
