Step 5 Click the battery icon on the controller enclosure or right-click the battery icon. In the displayed
shortcut menu, choose Properties，and then the system displays BBU Properties dialog box.
Step 6 The parameters of viewing UPS information are described, as shown in Table 4-3.
Table 4-3 Parameter descriptions
Parameter Description
BBU ID The parameter indicates the BBU ID. The BBU on the left is BBU 0 and that
on the right is BBU 1.
Enclosure ID The ID of the controller enclosure where the BBU is located.
Health Status The parameter indicates the status of the functions and running specifications
of the BBU.
l Normal: It indicates that the functions of the BBU and all the parameters
are set correctly.
l Fault: It indicates that the BBU work abnormally or the BBU cannot work.
The failure cannot be recovered.
Running
Status
The parameter indicates the running status of the BBU. The status can be
Present or Absent.
Current
voltage
The parameter indicates the current voltage of the BBU, and the unit is V.
Charge
Status
The charge status of the BBU is listed as follows:
l Full: It indicates the BBU is fully charged.
l Not Full: It indicates the BBU is not fully charged.

Exception Handling
l If the running status of the BBU is Absent, ensure that the BBU is normally inserted.
l
l If the health status of the BBU is Fault, see the “0x200301804 BBU fault” in the OceanStor
S2600 Storage System Event Reference.
l If a new alarm related to the BBU is displayed on the alarm interface, click the alarm and
remove the fault according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the alarm.
If the fault persists, contact technical support engineers.
4.4 Checking the Status of the UPS
This section describes how to check the UPS through the ISM.
Reference Standard
l No new alarms related to the UPS are displayed on the alarm interface.
