l If the health status of the disk enclosure is Single Link, see the relevant alarm and remove
the fault according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the alarm.
l If a new alarm related to the disk is displayed on the alarm interface, click the alarm and
remove the fault according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the alarm.
If the fault persists, contact technical support engineers.
4.6 Checking the Status of the iSCSI Host Port
This section describes how to check the iSCSI host port through the ISM.
Reference Standard
l No new alarms related to the iSCSI host port are displayed on the alarm interface.
l The health status of the iSCSI host port is Normal and the running status is Online.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the ISM.
Step 2 In the navigation tree, choose the storage device where the iSCSI host port needs to be checked.
Step 3 You can go to the iSCSI Host Port Management dialog box by any one of the following
approaches:
l On the menu bar, choose Configuration > iSCSI Host Port Management.
l On the toolbar, click the
icon.
l Right-click the mouse. On the displayed shortcut menu, choose iSCSI Host Port
Management.
Step 4 The parameters of viewing the information about an iSCSI host port are described, as shown in
Table 4-6.

Controller ID The parameter indicates the controller to which the iSCSI host port belongs.
A stands for controller A and B stands for controller B.
Port ID The parameter indicates the number of the iSCSI host port.
IP Address The parameter indicates the IP address of the controller.
Health Status The parameter indicates the status of the functions and running specifications
of the iSCSI host port.
l Normal: It indicates that the functions of the iSCSI port are properly and
all the parameters are set correctly.
l Unknown: It indicates that the system cannot report the health status of
the iSCSI host port.
