Method 3: Forcible upgrade
Step 1 Prepare a microSD card that has at least 2 GB storage (SanDisk and Kingstone microSD cards
are recommended).
Step 2 (Optional) Format the microSD card.
Step 3 Download the upgrade package by visiting the following website and choosing Appropriate
model > Support > Downloads > Download Now:
http://consumer.huawei.com/en/mobile-phones/index.htm
Step 4 Decompress the downloaded upgrade package.
Step 5 Copy the dload folder to the root directory of the microSD card and copy an au_temp.cfg file
(you can choose any file just with the same file name) to the dload folder.
