LabScan XE Standardization
The LabScan XE must be standardized on a regular basis to keep it operating properly.
Standardization Modes
There is only one measurement type available when you standardize the LabScan XE:
• Reflectance and due to the instrument geometry of 0/45, this measurement is:
RSEX: Reflectance - Specular Excluded
With varying hardware configurations such as UV filter in/out and the different areas of view, there are
many mode options for standardizing the LabScan XE. The instrument can be standardized at any time
by selecting Sensor > Standardize or by clicking the Standardize button on the default toolbar.
• Place black glass at the port to begin and press Next to continue.
