Chainbrake
The saw is equipped with a chain brake, The brake is designed to stop the chain
immediately in the eventof a kick-back. The brakeactivates when the hand guard is
pushedforward (l),
If the brake is already activated, it is disengaged by pulling the front hand guard
backtowardsthe front handle (2),
When working with the saw,the chain brakemust be disengaged,
Use the chain brake as a “parking brake”, if you move the saw with the engine
running,
