6.5 To remove and install the upper chassis
1. Remove the top cover. Refer to To remove and
install the top cover on page 18 .
2. Remove the body. Refer to To remove and install
the body on page 18 .
3. Pull to remove the height adjustment knob.
4. Remove the 14 screws.
5. Remove the warranty seal at the point of separation
between the chassis halves on the right side.
6. Lift the front end of the upper chassis.
7. Disconnect the power cable (A) from the main circuit
board.

CAUTION: Always disconnect the power
cable first to prevent current spikes that may
harm the circuit boards or the battery.
8. Disconnect the HMI cable (B) from the main circuit
board.
9. Remove the upper chassis.
10. Install in opposite sequence.
