To clean and replace the inlet filter
on the air condition
1. Loosen the 2 knobs on the fan system cover and
remove the cover.
2. Pull out the filter holder.
3. Lift out the inlet filter.
4. Carefully clean the inlet filter with a brush.
5. If the inlet filter does not become clean, replace it.
6. Put the inlet filter into the filter holder.
7. Attach the filter holder and tighten the knobs.
To replace a fuse
A broken fuse is identified by a burned connector.
1. Remove the cover to get access to the broken fuse.
a) To replace the safety fuse, remove the engine
cover. The safety fuse is in a holder on top of the
battery.
b) To replace the feeder fuse, remove the engine
cover. The feeder fuse is in the left holder in front
of the battery.
c) To replace the fuse for the power outlet, remove
the right side cover. The fuse for the power outlet
is in the electrical connection box.
d) To replace the cabin fuses, remove the engine
cover. The cabin fuses is in the right holder in
front of the battery.
e) To replace the traffic kit fuses, remove the servo
housing cover.
Note: For P 525D with cabin, to get access to
the servo housing cover remove the 4 screws on
the air distridutor. Remove the air distributor.
f) To replace the fuses for the lamps, the window
wiper and the fan, remove the cover in the cabin
roof.
2. Pull the fuse from the holder.
3. Replace the broken fuse with a new fuse of the
same type. Refer to
Fuse overview on page 5
.
4. Attach the covers.
Note:
If the main fuse breaks again a short period after
you replace it, there is a short circuit. Repair the short
circuit before you operate the product again. Let an
approved service agent help you.
