Why won't the starter motor turn over on my Husqvarna P 520D Lawn Mower?

  The starter motor might not turn the engine over for several reasons. The parking brake may not be applied. There may be air in the fuel system. The main fuse could be blown. The ignition lock, starter motor, or the connection between the cable and the battery might be defective. The battery might be too weak, or the PTO-button might be activated. Refer to page 23 to apply and release the parking brake and page 32 to replace a fuse, and page 33 to charge the battery.

Refer to page 31 to replace the fuel filters and to clean/replace the air filter.

  If the engine seems to have no power, the following reasons may apply: The air filter or fuel filter could be clogged. There might be air in the fuel system. The relief valve or feed pump could be defective. The feed pressure could be too low. The timing of the fuel injection pump might be defective, or the engine itself could be defective. Refer to page 31 to clean and replace the air filter and to replace the fuel filters.
