3. Remove the oil cap and examine the hydraulic oil
level. Correct level is 40–60 mm from the top of the
strainer.
4. If the oil level is too low, fill with the type of oil given
in
Technical data on page 84
.
9.5.7 To replace the hydraulic oil
WARNING: Hydraulic oil is dangerous to your
skin. Clean spills with soap and water.
WARNING: Used oil and filters are dangerous
to the environment. Discard used chemicals at
an applicable disposal location.
Note: It is easier to replace the oil if the engine is warm
before draining the oil.

1. Remove the side cover. Refer to
To remove the
covers on page 23
.
2. Clean the area around the oil openings in the
hydraulic oil tank.
3. Remove the protection cover on the right side of the
product.
4. Put a container below the oil drain plug.
5. Remove the oil drain plug.
6. Attach the oil drain plug when the hydraulic oil tank
is empty.
7. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with hydraulic oil. Refer to
Technical data on page 84
.
8. Make sure the oil level is correct. Refer to

46
.
9.5.8 To replace the hydraulic oil cooler
1. Open the engine cover.
2. Disconnect the plug of the hydraulic oil cooler.
3. Clean the hydraulic connections. Refer to
To keep
the hydraulic system clean on page 44
.
4. Make marks on the hydraulic hoses to make it easier
to connect them correctly when you assemble the
hydraulic oil cooler.
