16. Remove the 6 nuts of the side panel and lift the side
panel.
17. Remove the hydraulic oil tank.
18. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.5.14 To disassemble the lift cylinder
1. Lower the cutting deck.
2. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
To remove
the covers on page 23
.
3. Push the spring stay to release the lift chain.
4. Remove the operator seat. Refer to
To disassemble
and assemble the seat on page 24
.
5. Disconnect the hydraulic connections of the lift
cylinder. Obey the instructions given in
To keep the
hydraulic system clean on page 44
.
6. Disassemble the hydraulic couplings at the 2 ends of
the lift cylinder.
7. Remove the lift cylinder through the frame.
8. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9. Lower and lift the lift arms again and again with the
engine started to bleed the lift cylinder.
10. Do a check for leakage from the lift cylinder
hydraulic connections.
11. Do a check of the oil level of the hydraulic oil tank.
Fill with hydraulic oil if it is necessary. Refer to
To do
a check of the oil level in the hydraulic system on
page 46
.
