9 Repair instructions
9.1 Chassis
9.1.1 To remove the covers
9.1.1.1 To open the engine cover
1. Fold the seat forward.
2. Release the clip on the engine cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
3. Fold the engine cover rearward.
9.1.1.2 To remove the engine cover
1. Fold the seat forward.
2. Release the clip on the engine cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
3. Fold the engine cover rearward.
4. Push and hold the snap lock and push it through the
engine cover.
5. Remove the screws from the hinges.
6. Lift the engine cover.
7. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.1.1.3 To remove the front cover
1. Release the clip on the front cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
2. Lift off the front cover.
9.1.1.4 To remove the right footrest plate
1. Turn the knob on the reverse pedal (A) to remove it.
2. Remove the 4 screws (B) and remove the footrest
plate.
