9.3.3 To replace the main fuse
A blown fuse is identified by a burned connector.
1. Open the engine cover. The main fuse is in a holder
in front of the battery.
2. Pull the fuse from the holder.
3. Replace the blown fuse with a new fuse of the same
type. Refer to
Technical data on page 51
.
4. Attach the covers.
If the main fuse blows again a short period after you
replace it, there is a short circuit. Repair the short circuit
before you operate the product again.
9.3.4 To remove and install the operator presence
control (OPC)
1. Lift the seat.
2. Remove the screw that hold the spring and spring
washer.
3. Disconnect the cable connector from the OPC.
4. Press in the fasteners and remove the OPC from the
holder.
5. Install in the opposite sequence.
9.3.5 To remove and install the microswitch for the
lift lever
1. Remove the right footrest plate and the right fender.

2. Disconnect the connector from the microswitch.
3. Remove the microswitch.
4. Install in opposite sequence.
9.3.6 To disassemble and assemble the ignition
switch
1. Remove the side cover on the control panel.
2. Remove the ignition key.
3. Remove the plastic nut and pull down the ignition
switch.
4. Pull the connector to disconnect it from the ignition
switch.
5. Assemble in opposite sequence. Make sure that the
connector goes into the correct position.
