3.4. GPS TRACKING
The GPS tracking functionality can only be used
when the I LOCK IT GPS is locked and the alarm
system is activated (acoustic or silent alarm).
If a theft alarm is triggered on your bike, I LOCK IT automatically
activates the GPS tracking functionality.
With the I LOCK IT app you can now track the current location
of your I LOCK IT GPS.
As soon as your bike is not moved for a longer period of time,
I LOCK IT GPS deactivates the GPS functionality again to save
energy. If your bike is moved again, the GPS tracking will be
activated again.
• The GPS tracking functionality will only be activa-
ted if you are not within Bluetooth range when the
alarm is triggered.
• The transmission of location data is only possible if
sufficient mobile phone reception is available.
OPERATION
• After activating the GPS Tracking function, it can
take up to several minutes to locate the current
position via GPS. GPS reception in buildings is
usually not possible.
• The GPS localization has a high energy consumption.
We recommend charging your I LOCK IT GPS
regularly, even if the battery has not yet reached
a critical level.
ACOUSTIC SIGNAL FUNCTION
With the acoustic signal function you can trigger a short tone
on your I LOCK IT GPS via the I LOCK IT app. This will help
you find your I LOCK IT GPS when you are nearby.
To use the acoustic signal function, your
I LOCK IT GPS must be within Bluetooth range
and the I LOCK IT App must be connected to
your I LOCK IT GPS.
