PROXIMITY POSITIONING FUNCTION
The GPS accuracy can deviate several meters from the real
location of your bike depending on the environmental situation.
In these situations, the proximity positioning function can help
you locate your bike.
Once your I LOCK IT GPS is within Bluetooth range, the
proximity positioning screen in the I LOCK IT app will show you
whether you are currently approaching your bike or heading in
the opposite direction.
The stronger the Bluetooth signal, the closer your bike with
I LOCK IT GPS is.
OPERATION
3.5. SHARE ACCESS
To lend your I LOCK IT GPS-equipped bike to friends or family,
you can create and share a color code in the I LOCK IT app. This
color code allows you to open I LOCK IT GPS without having to
install the I LOCK IT app on another smartphone.
To do so, switch to the settings menu in the I LOCK IT App. Under
the sub-item "Share“ you can generate, share, change and deac-
tivate a color code.
If the color code is changed, the last displayed color code is
automatically deactivated.
• To create a color code, your I LOCK IT app must be
connected to your I LOCK IT GPS.
• Your personal color code, which you set during
initial setup, should not be shared. This personal
color code provides permanent access to your
I LOCK IT GPS.
• If several people are using your bike permanently,
it makes sense to teach additional smartphones to
your I LOCK IT GPS.
