2.3. MOUNTING ON THE BIKE

I LOCK IT GPS is permanently attached to the seat stays of

your bike. For mounting I LOCK IT GPS has three different

openings. Through these openings I LOCK IT GPS can be

mounted at the optimal height.

I LOCK IT GPS should only be mounted on the

rear wheel. Mounting on motorcycles such as

scooters, motorcycles or S-pedelecs (pedelecs

with up to 45 km|h support) is not permitted.

Mount I LOCK IT GPS in such a way that there is

enough clearance to the mudguard. Only then

the spoke avoidance can be guaranteed at the

locking process.

MOUNTING FOR BIKES WITH THREADED SOCKETS

If your bike already has threaded sockets for screwing on

frame locks, please follow these instructions:

Most city, trekking and e-bikes have threaded so-

ckets. On some models they may be protected by

plastic covers. These covers must be removed

before mounting I LOCK IT GPS.

FIRST SET-UP FIRST SET-UP

I. Screw the flex adapters by hand into the threaded

sockets (1) of your bike and tighten the flex adapters

(2) hand-tight (3Nm).

II. Place I LOCK IT GPS over your mudguard | tire.

III. Tighten the I LOCK IT GPS to the flex adapters by

hand with an Allen key (3Nm). Use the supplied

mounting screws.
