BATTERY LEVEL AND BATTERY CHANGE
As soon as the battery level of your key fob
+
reaches a critical
level, the key fob
+
LED starts flashing red.
If this happens, the battery should be replaced to ensure
continued reliable operation.
Follow these steps to change the key fob
+
battery.
I. Open the battery cover.
II. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly.
III. Insert a new battery into the battery compartment and close
the battery cover.
The key fob
+
is fully functional again now.
All settings will be retained during the battery
change and no new initial set-up must be done.
ACCESSORIES
RESET TO FACTORY STATE
If the key fob
+
is reset to the factory setting, the connection
between I LOCK IT GPS and key fob
+
is deleted. The key
fob
+
can then be connected to a new I LOCK IT GPS.
The following steps must be carried out to reset the key fob
+
to the factory settings:
I. Open the battery cover and remove the battery.
II. Press and hold the key fob
+
button.
III. Insert the coin battery into the key fob
+
(keep the button
pressed down).
IV. Release the key fob
+
button after approx. 5 seconds.
If the key fob
+
LED flashes blue, the procedure was successful
and the key fob
+
has been reset to the factory settings.
To reconnect the key fob
+
to I LOCK IT GPS,
follow the instructions for the first set-up for pairing
again.
