Using
the
Keyboard
Maps
For
some
3270
terminals
used
as
ASCII
terminals,
a
Control
Shift
is
providedthat allowsyouto press and holdthe
CTRL
keywhile pressing
other
keys when you want to do a
series
of control functions.
The keyboard
maps
indicate which keyboards
use
the
CTRL
key
as
described
here.
Case
usually
does
not matter. When you
see
ESC a, for example, you can type
A or a. However,
If
you
see
an uppercase letter on the keyboard map translation,
you
must
type
the
uppercase
letter.
Note:
In a
few
instances
the
lowercase
letter
must
be
used.
For
ASCII
terminals being used
as
3270 terminals, the extension mode key
(ALT
Erase
EOF) is
mapped
for
the
following functions:
