Introduction
This section, when used with the instructions provided
with the purchased option shows you how to install an
option in your
mM
Portable Personal Computer.
The procedures for the installation of the Math
Coprocessor and a second
mM
Personal Computer
Slimline Diskette Drive are difficult. We strongly
recommend that you have
mM
or
an Authorized
mM
Personal Computer Dealer install these options for you.
If
you wish to install either of these two options
yourself, a complete installation procedure
is
included
in this section. Review the "Installation Requirements"
and the "Tools Required" that follow to make sure you
have everything you need before you proceed.
Some of the options that you can install may require
changes to the switches on the system board
or
on
the
option. Switch setting charts are provided at the end of
the "Installation Procedures" to show which position
the switches must be set to reflect the addition of the
option.
